YMCA NC Youth Legislature and YMCA NC MSUN
Youth & Government is a national YMCA Program for high school students. The program enables young people to prepare for moral and political leadership through training in the theory and practice of developing public policy.Currently, the Youth & Government program in North Carolina includes the annual high school Youth Legislature, Youth & Government Conference on National Affairs and the annual Middle School United Nations (MSUN) program.

Our delegation will travel to the Youth & Government Conference on National Affairs June 27- July 4, 2008. Selected NC delegates debate their peers from across the country at the weeklong event held each July at the YMCA Conference Center in beautiful Black Mountain, NC. National Affairs was created in 1968 as a way to bring together teens from America's Youth & Government programs. Each of the nearly 500 delegates are selected by their home states to write and debate proposed solutions to problems, which are a matter of national or international concern.
