Sooner or later, we all can use a little help. The YMCA is for people from all walks of life--when things are okay and when there are problems. When the family bread winner loses a job, when medical bills overwhelm your budget, or when other situations occur that keep you from making ends meet...that's when you need YMCA financial assistance.
How can I get assistance? It's easy. Follow these simple steps:
- Request a financial assistance packet from the YMCA front desk.
- Complete the form and attach a copy of your most recent tax return.
- Call the YMCA to schedule an appointment.
Who will see my information? Your information will be help in complete confidence and will be seen only by the YMCA director responsible for managing the financial assistance plan.
How much assistance will be provided? It depends on the program and the extent of need. Most people are expected to pay something. It is unusual for 100% of the fee to be provided. We do have limited funds. We may refer prospective participants to other community agencies if we cannot meet their needs.
How long will the assistance continue? Assistance will usually be granted for a specific period of time.
