Olive Chapel After School Program

Olive Chapel Elementary School

After School at Olive Chapel is the perfect blend of homework and fun! Afternoons are filled with field & gym games, arts & crafts, playground time, homework, and much more!

When does this program run?
From school dismissal until 6:00 p.m. each school day; this includes scheduled early release days, which are covered in the program cost.

What does an afternoon at Olive Chapel After School look like?

  • 3:45 - 4:00 Check in/Thought For the Day
  • 4:00 - 4:10 Snack
  • 4:10 - 4:45 Activity & homework*
  • 4:45 - 5:00 Assembly/Values Time
  • 5:00 - 6:00 Rides out



*Campers have an opportunity to work on homework Monday - Thursday!

Program activities include: arts & crafts, homework, Compass Awards, board games, teambuilding activities, movies, playground activities, Kidstowne playground once a week, gym & field games, YMCA spirit incentives and more!

Registration: Current Year Round Students
Members: week of February 4th
Program Participants: week of February 11th

Register at our current year-round After School sites, from 4:00-6:00 p.m., or at the Southwest Wake YMCA office from 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.

At registration you will need the Youth Information Form, immunization records, a voided check (for monthly bank draft), and program registration fee of $25 per program, per child.
When: 2007 - 2008 Year Round School Year
Fees: 2008-2009 Program Fees
Members: $1,645/year; $135/12 monthly installments
Program Participants: $2,074/year; $170.75/12 monthly installments

The registration fee is reflected in the total yearly cost, and does not affect the monthly draft installment price.

Bank draft option runs from June 24, 2008 – May 24, 2009 (12 installments)
