From start to finish, our afternoons at after school are packed with fun and character development! We have an emphasis on homework and working on being outstanding role models with activities each month. West Lake After School is designed to strengthen your child’s confidence, character and well-being.

What does an afternoon at After School look like?

• 3:00 - 3:15 Snack
• 3:15 - 4:00 Activity 1
• 4:00 - 4:45 Activity 2(Mon - Thurs)
• *4:00 - 4:20 Program assembly on Friday only
• *4:20 - 5:00 Activity 2 on Friday only
• 4:45 - 5:00 Huddle assemblies (Mon & Wed); Values Time (Tues & Thurs)
• *4:00 - 5:00 Homework available (Mon - Thurs)
• 5:00 - 5:30 Centers & sports leagues
• 5:30 - 5:45 Gym games
• 5:45 - 6:00 Quiet games

When does this program run?
From school dismissal until 6:00 p.m. each school day; this includes scheduled early release days, which are covered in the program cost.

Program activities include: arts & crafts, homework, board games, Compass Awards, teambuilding activities, movies, playground activites, special guests, gym & field games, YMCA spirit incentives, early release day events, monthly sports leagues, and more!
