Children in grades K - 8
Downtown YMCA
S.O.S Days are open to all children, regardless of the school they attend, and they do not have to be enrolled in other YMCA programs in order to participate.
Daily activities include field trips (select days), Swimming, Gym games, Assemblies, Daily awards, Values times, Arts & crafts, and Indoor / outdoor games.

What does a typical S.O.S. day look like?
7:30-9:00 Rides In 9:00-9:30 Assembly 9:30-9:45 Snack 9:45-11:45 Morning Activities (swimming, arts and crafts, games, field trips, etc.) 11:45-12:00 Lunch Assembly 12:00-12:30 Lunch 12:30-3:30 Afternoon Activities 3:30-3:45 Snack 3:45-4:00 Values Time 4:00-5:00 Activities 5:00-5:15 Assembly 5:15-6:00 Rides Out

Registration is now open for all YMCA Members and YMCA Program Participants
All SOS Registrations must occur at least one full business day prior to the start of the SOS Day. |
| When: |
7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. during most scheduled Durham County Public School (traditional and year round) holidays and teacher workdays. |
| Fees: |
Members: $35/ day Program Participants: $45/ day Payment is due in full at the time of registration. |
