The Durham YMCA was established in 1888 and is part of the YMCA of the Triangle, one of the largest YMCAs in the country.
The Durham YMCAs serve youth, adults and seniors in the Durham area. We strive to meet community needs through organized programs that promote good health, strong families, confident children and better communities.
The Durham YMCAs include three facilities:
- Downtown Durham at 215 Morgan Street
- Lakewood at 2119 Chapel Hill Road
- The Wellness Center at the American Tobacco Historic District at 410 Blackwell St., Suite 20
Joining one YMCA gives members access to all three facilities and program offerings.
