Any student currently enrolled in Early Arrival, After School, Track Out, or Schools Out Specials Program.
Please tune to local news for further information about YMCA Program closing.
NEW PROGRAM OPTION When the Wake County Schools are closed the YMCA Youth Programs are also closed. However, the YMCA may be able to serve children when inclement weather occurs! If we are able to open, we will serve all children currently tracked out and registered for Tracking Out or SOS for the day at no charge. For all other Cary Family YMCA students, we will treat the day like a drop in School's Out Special Day on a limited basis. All participants will be served on a first come, first serve basis. You CANNOT reserve a spot in the program. This service will be determined on a daily basis and will only occur if the facility can be opened and the staff can safely get to work.
If schools are delayed, all morning YMCA programs are delayed by the same amount of time (i.e. if school starts 2 hours late, early arrivals will start 2 hours late).
If schools release early, YMCA programs will be closed. YMCA transportation will not pick up students from schools. Parents must pick up students from schools themselves. The Tracking Out program will not transport children back to school sites. All Tracking Out children must be picked up from the YMCA immediately. This only applies to unscheduled early release days when school is suspended due to the threat of severe weather conditions.
If schools are closed and the YMCA is unable to open the facility, all YMCA youth programs are closed.
