Programs are held at the Cary Family YMCA and various locations throughout the Cary area.

A great way for children to spend the summer! Each camp is filled with fun, friends and counselors who provide an atmosphere of safety, spirit and Christian values. With a 1:10 camper to staff ratio, our quality staff is committed to helping each camper develop positive life skills that strengthen his or her character.

Camp Blazing Trails
Campers Age 5 - Rising Grade 6
Rangers Rising Grades 7 - 8
Lake Crabtree Park

Blazing Trails is a half-day camp located at the Dogwood Shelter at Lake Crabtree County Park. The camp focuses on the environment and the great outdoors. Boating, fishing, hiking, archery, water games, and nature programs by Park Rangers are just a few of the great activites your child will enjoy. More...

Camp Outer Limits
Rising Grades K - 8
West Cary Middle School

Camp Outer Limits is an exciting full-day camp filled with opportunities: active sports, learning new skills, outdoor adventure, crafts, and making new friends. The counselors at Camp Outer Limits create a safe environment while your children enjoy a wide variety of activities. Daily assemblies contain songs, contests, and skits. Each week is packed with excitement ranging from Wacky Wednesday, swimming, archery, a GIANT Slip n' Slide (we call her "Nessie"), and a weekly field trip. In addition to the outstanding activities offered at our home base of West Cary Middle School, each camper will have the opportunity to go on a field trip! Possible field trips include the Natural Science Museum, Lake Crabtree, Bond Park, or a tour of the News & Observer. More...

Located on-site at the Cary Family YMCA, Camp Rising Sun offers jam-packed days of excitement to campers for eighteen years. Campers are given opportunities to play, learn new skills, and make new friends. Enthusiastic counselors create an atmosphere of warmth and encouragement.

YMCA Sports Camp
Rising Grades 1 - 10
Held at West Cary Middle School and Cary Family YMCA

Change is in the air this summer at Sports Camp. We have a new location, awesome sports, and an experience for 9th and 10th graders that will change their lives.
Have you ever awakened in the middle of the night to the sound of a bouncing ball? Does your child take a jump rope everywhere? Is there a soccer ball attached to your child's foot? If you answered yes to any of these questions then Sports Camp is the place for your child this summer!
