Laurel Park Students, K - 5
Held at Laurel Park Elementary
Wake up and start your morning with us! Early Arrivals is a program for students at Laurel Park Elementary. Each morning is filled with fun activites including quiet games, gym games, assemblies, and arts & crafts.
We put the brain in motion with team challenges and character development. Our 2009 format is based on the YMCA’s core values and mission of building a healthy spirit, mind and body. Our activities are guided by the core values of caring, respect, responsibility, honesty and faith. We feel these are tools children need to build a future with strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.
How does the Rides In system work? Rides in begins at 7:00 a.m. The YMCA Early Arrivals Site Director will be waiting outside in the bus loop to welcome your child to school. After 7:45 a.m. parents should walk their children into the multipurpose room and a staff member will be there to check them in. ****Please note**** If you arrive at school after the carpool and buses have begun to line up, you must park and escort your child into the building to the YMCA early arrivals program.
Daily Schedule:
- 7:00 - 7:45 a.m. Rides In
- 7:25 - 8:25 a.m. Activity
- 8:25 - 8:35 a.m. Closing assembly; school dismissal
