Grades K - 8
Cary Family YMCA - Main Building
The Cary Family YMCA’s Traditional After School and Early Arrivals program dates are based on the Wake County public school calendar. School holidays and teacher workdays are not part of the YMCA school program coverage. The YMCA’s School’s Out Specials (SOS) days cover most of these holidays and all teacher workdays. Registration and payment for these days is handled separately.
The SOS Package Deal covers all above listed SOS days. Purchase the package and save by receiving two FREE days. (The package covers 23 days.) In addition, the SOS Package Deal can be included in your monthly draft for traditional school programs! Package is available only until July 24, 2010.
These days are held at the Cary Family YMCA’s main facility and not at each After School site. Space is limited for each SOS day.
What will students do during an SOS day? After registration, participants are notified by mail of the day’s field trips and event schedules. Activities available on typical SOS days include field trips, values times, devotions, special guests, movies, gym and field games, songs, arts and crafts, swimming, and more. Not all activities are available on each day, and schedules are available at rides in when you drop off your child at the Cary Family YMCA.
