The best thing about Camp Outer Limits for middle schoolers is the unique and wacky activities. End of Summer Middle School Madness Extravaganza, Tank Wars, Flour Battles and Jello Fights are just a few of these activities.


Camp 3 at Camp Outer Limits offers a break from traditional summer camp programs for middle schoolers. Although character traits still play a big role with Camp 3, there is great twist for the middle schoolers. Instead of traditional beads, each Camp 3 camper is given a bandana. Each bandana represents different Character Achievement. After accumulating the bandanas, they can trade them in for cool prizes such as Popsicles, milkshakes, a free lunch, extra time on the Slip'N Slide or their chance to turn their counselors into an Ice Cream Sundae.
Middle schoolers at Camp Outer Limits go on weekly field trips such as the N.C. State Murphy Center, Kaplan Park for some exhilarating Frisbee Golf, and the Eno River for an awesome outdoor adventure.
Middle schoolers get to participate in inter-camp field days with Camp Upward Bound and Rising Sun Day camp.
