The best thing about Rising Sun for middle schoolers is that they get to do special activities outside of the normal program. Ping Pong Tournaments, Parties, Water Balloon Tournaments, Field Days, and Special Guests are just a few of these activities. Special Awards and ice cream field trips also make the middle school experience at Rising Sun unique.


Middle schoolers learn responsibility and leadership skills by helping counselors plan different activities during the day at camp. Strong bonds of friendship are encouraged through team building exercises like accomplishing group tasks and working together to win competitions.
