Have you ever awakened in the middle of the night to the sound of a bouncing ball? Does your child take a jump rope everywhere? Is there a soccer ball attached to your child's foot? If you answered yes to any of these questions then Sports Camp is the place for your child this summer! With a combination of a quality day camp and sports specific instruction, you can't go wrong by choosing to play with us this summer.
Your child will experience energetic assemblies, creative skill development, thrilling competition and of course fun, fun, fun! It is our goal at Sports Camp for each camper to become more skilled in sports, and to learn how to be more skilled in life. It is our hope that each child will take away something from camp that they can apply in their interactions with others each day. The key to accomplishing this goal is our talented, dedicated, and experienced staff.
Sports Camp is led by a responsible and energetic staff of adults, college and high school students. Each staff member is carefully selected through a comprehensive application and interview process – under the direction of full time YMCA professionals. Every member of our staff has years of experience in their particular sport. Staff are fully trained with an emphasis on being an exemplary role model, building camper self-esteem, creativity, safety, fun, and YMCA Spirit. Our programs are effective because of the QUALITY of our staff!
