Join us on March 20 for a "Pajama Party" event during Parents' Night Out.
The Parents' Night Out program provides your children with a fun and activity-packed evening at the Cary Family YMCA. To get information on what a typical Parents' Night Out schedule looks like . . .
Children participate in group games, arts and crafts projects, movies, and other fun activites. Snack is included in the night's activities.
Parents' Night Out Schedule
- 6:00-6:30 Rides in
- 6:30-7:00 First Activity
- 7:00-7:30 Second Activity
- 7:30-8:00 Snack
- 8:00-8:30 Third Activity
- 8:30-9:00 Special Movie
- 9:00-9:45 Rides out
Activity times generally consist of gym games such as soccer, dodge ball or tag games, time in the game room, or seasonal arts and crafts projects. Children will also be involved in similar activites during the rides-in period. During rides-out, the children take part in a "cool down" time featuring an age-appropriate movie (all movies shown are G rated). Snack is usually a juice box and a small bag of chips. Counselor-camper challenges and other fun activites periodically take place during snack time.
