St. Mary's School

It's time to break out the basketball shoes and get ready for league play!

Co-ed K-1st grade league practices and games are on Saturday mornings. The practice is held for 20 minutes before the game.
2nd - 3rd grade leagues have games on Saturdays and practices on Sunday afternoons.
4th - 5th grade boys leagues play their games on Friday nights and practice on Sunday afternoons.
4th - 5th grade girls leagues play their games on Friday nights and practice on Saturday or Sunday afternoons. The practice day rotates throughout the season.
Middle school girls league practices Saturday mornings and play their games Sunday afternoons at St. Mary's School
Middle school boys league practices Wednesday evenings at the Y and games are played Saturday afternoons at St. Mary's School.

When: The week of Dec. 8 - March 7

Mandatory skills assessment for league placement:
Saturday, Nov. 1:
9 a.m.: Middle school boys and 4th - 5th grade boys
10 a.m.: 4th - 5th grade girls
11 a.m. : Middle school girls

Coaches' meeting: Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m.
Those interested in coaching should contact Matt Lilley. A volunteer application and background check will need to be completed.

Hoops Clinic
Grade 6

Looking for a way to improve your game and have some fun after school? The Alexander Family YMCA is going to hold basketball skills sessions for 6th graders. Participants will be exposed to fun and challenging drills as well as live action.

Girls on the Run
Girls ages 8 - 11

Girls on the Run is a life-changing character development program for girls that uses running to teach values and a sense of self. It is a 12-week training program working towards participation in a non-competive 1 to 3.1 mile walk/run with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workouts and a community service project.

Strength and Conditioning Training
Grades 6 - 12
Alexander Family YMCA

Strength training geared toward all sports. Sessions are taught by nationally certified strength and conditioning specialists and certified USA weightlifting coaches.


When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
