Interested in Joining? Joining the Alexander Family YMCA grants you access to our facilities, gives you member prices, and provides priority registration for Y programs. It also helps you build a positive, healthy lifestyle. A Triangle YMCA membership provides access to all our facilities and programs. Joining is easy. Just come to the Alexander Y, and speak to someone at the Welcome Center about joining. We encourage you to take a tour. We have no contracts, but we do have a joining fee that helps cover facility maintenance and improvements. You may pay your joining fee in four equal payments. Membershp for All at the Alexander Y is a program that helps to make a healthy lifestyle accessible for the whole family. If your total household annual income is $60,000 or less, you qualify for 50% off the joining fee for dependent memberships. Dependent membership types include "adult with dependents" and "husband/wife with dependents." It’s easy to apply: Bring a copy of your most recent tax return to the Y. Let our staff know that you’d like to discuss Membership for All for dependent memberships. Complete your Membership Registration Form. Payment Options Monthly Bank Draft The monthly bankdraft plan allows you to pay monthly without writing a check. You authorize your bank draft by signing a bank authorization form to debit you checking or savings account automatically for membership fees each month. The first month's fee is to be paid with the member application to allow time for your draft to be processed. Please submit a voided check with your application. Payment in Full Members paying in full annually will receive an invoice for next year's pre-payment at least 30 days prior to their anniversary date. Please renew your membership prior to the end of your membership year. Payment may be made by cash, check or credit card. Financial Assistance We also offer financial assistance to reduce the monthly fees. If you're interested in applying, please complete the Financial Assistance Application and return it to the Welcome Center along with the required documents. Financial Assistance is awarded on a first come, first served basis until all available funds have been allocated. Y Playhouse Draft and Y Funhouse Access The Alexander Y offers a monthly bank draft system that covers unlimited visits to the Y-Playhouse (ages and 5 under). This offer is available to all Adult With Dependents and Husband/Wife With Dependents membership types. The fee covers all dependent children on your membership. If you wish to upgrade your membership to take advantage of this opportunity, please bring a voided check to the Welcome Center. The Y Funhouse serves children ages 5 to grade five who are covered under a membership. Adult With Dependents and Husband/Wife With Dependents membership types provide unlimited visits to the Y Funhouse at no additional cost. Parents will need to purchase a Day Pass for their child if the parent is visiting the Y with a Day Pass, or if the child is not covered under a membership. Day Passes for the Y Playhouse and Y Funhouse cost $8.00 per child per visit. Visitors utilizing a Tour Pass will be able to use the facility including the Y Playhouse and Y Funhouse free of charge. Military Memberships The YMCA of the Triangle provides military families with easy, low-cost YMCA memberships. Please contact Military One Source for more information and qualifying requirements. Triangle Y Membership A Triangle YMCA membership grants members access to all programs and services at any of our facilities in Cary, Durham, and Raleigh. Please read the YMCA of the Triangle Code of Conduct. The YMCA reserves the right to increase membership rates as necessary with at least 30 days advance notice. Membership cancellation requires written notification 30 days prior to bank draft date.
