There are many opportunities for Eagle Scouts here at the A.E. Finley YMCA. We would be happy to meet with you to discuss ideas.

Some past examples: We have had an Eagle Scout build a fence to keep campers from walking into the street behind our building. We have also had an Eagle Scout build an accessible garden for our large on-site Day Camp. Other projects that we would like to see completed on our campus are: clearing an area around our low ropes course, nature/running trail enhancements, and bridge repairs. Again, we would love to meet with you to discuss your project and help you develop a plan. We will provide oversight throughout the completion of your project and will require that you utilize materials that we specify or purchase in order to be consistent with existing structures.

Training required: None. All Eagle Scouts will simply need to meet with a YMCA staff person to plan his project.
