Our YMCA has been offering Summer Day Camps for more than 20 years! We love camp and we know you will too! We offer many different camps here at our facility and at convenient locations in North Raleigh. The YMCA offers full-day camps and half-day camps; one-week sessions and two-week sessions; camps for preschoolers and camps for high schoolers... we have something for everyone! Your child will make new friends, experience new activities, and learn from great role models. Sign up for camp at the A.E. Finley YMCA this summer and watch your child grow!

Camp Play Ball is a specialized camp which teaches, trains and enhances sportsmanship and athletic ability. With the combination of a quality day camp and sport-specific development, you can’t go wrong by choosing to play with us this summer. Your child will experience creative skill development, thrilling competition and of course, fun! It is our goal at Camp Play Ball for each camper to become a better athlete through positive reinforcement and intentional skill development.
This summer we will also have a Micro Play Ball session for children ages 3-6. This half day option will offer your child a fun introduction to soccer, basketball, and t-ball, plus traditional day camp activities all in the same week!

Program Participants: $217 per session
$25 deposit per child per camp week is due upon registration. The deposit is deducted from the total program cost and is nonrefundable and nontransferable. You will be billed for the remainder of the program cost one month prior to your child's first day of camp. If you register camp sessions after May 15th, total payment is due upon registration.

A.E. Finley YMCA
Camp G.R.A.C.E. incorporates therapeutic ideals from many disciplines: therapeutic recreation, TEACCH, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Verbal Behavior, and Sensory Integration. Camp G.R.A.C.E. is not a mental health program or a treatment program. While our staff attend introductory trainings in these disciplines, we are not designed to implement therapeutic programs. Our goal is for the staff to have an understanding of these methods, and to incorporate these ideals into daily activities.

Camp Blazing Trails focuses on the environment and the great outdoors. Most of our activities revolve around these concepts to give children the opportunity to learn about nature, environmental conservation and the opportunities the outdoors has to offer. Campers will have the opportunity to fish, hike, canoe, shoot archery, meet with a Park Ranger, as well as many other fun activities! Children in rising 7th and 8th grades have the option to join our Jr. CILTs program which can include a middle school overnight trip with FDC! We look forward to meeting you and your child at Camp Blazing Trails this summer!

From assemblies to arts and archery, dodgeball to devotions, slip n' slide and swimming to soccer... we have something for everyone! We offer one-week sessions in a wooded setting to keep your children entertained and exploring in a safe environment. Each day includes three activities, choices time and swimming. Each session includes a special family night and our middle school campers have a cookout and dance!

Located at the A.E. Finley YMCA
Highly active, outdoor traveling day camp for teens. Exciting field trips every day! These trips could include movies, hiking, kayaking, college tours, service projects, and more. Camp may also include some intramural sports and clinics where teens can learn new skills about different sports or hobbies like soccer, jewelry making, and more!
