FDCExtras operates within Finley Day Camp at the A.E. Finley YMCA.
FDCExtras allow your child to specialize in topics of his or her interest during activity periods. This is a great way to break up your summer or add to your experience weekly. All activity periods (including clinics and choices) will be focused on a specific topic, and campers will take a related field trip. Campers will still participate in assemblies, swimming and Thumpin’ Thursday with the rest of Finley Day Camp.

Interested families must call Randi Gressel at 845–3847 to discuss the program prior to registering. The Inclusion Option is available for sessions 2 – 9 (June 21 – Aug. 13).

Children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD) or Autism Spectrum Disorder, ages 6-13.
A.E. Finley YMCA
Camp G.R.A.C.E. incorporates therapeutic ideals from many disciplines: therapeutic recreation, TEACCH, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Verbal Behavior, and Sensory Integration. Camp G.R.A.C.E. is not a mental health program or a treatment program. While our staff attend introductory trainings in these disciplines, we are not designed to implement therapeutic programs. Our goal is for the staff to have an understanding of these methods, and to incorporate these ideals into daily activities.
